Executive Vice President and Vice Chair of the Board
Margaret L Harding is an energetic and results oriented leader and executive with a proven track record of outstanding public and private-sector service. Prior to co-founding CMCG, she had a distinguished career with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Harding began her career in Washington, DC as an administrative assistant and was promoted through the ranks to become warden. She played a major role in the establishment of policies and programs for affirmative action and served as the affirmative action administrator, Kansas City, MO and as the Federal Bureau of Prisons Chief Affirmative Action Officer, Washington, DC.
Following her retirement from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, she worked with Cornell Companies, a private corrections company, as associate warden and warden. She was directly involved in managing the company’s contract with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Harding was also active in developing a mother/infancy program for the facility.
Harding is well-respected throughout the criminal justice system and continues to serve as an advisor and mentor to numerous corrections professionals.
